Meet Chad Golem

Crooked Contractor in Cleveland

Don't Be His Next Victim

There is a mix of emotions that you experience when you realize that you have been lied to, mislead, stolen from, and conned out of your money and/or time.... by someone you trusted. It is a bitter blend of anger, disgust, helplessness, disbelief, and finally utter frustration. This website was created as a resource to educate and warn you about the fraud schemes of Chad Golem and his family. Your knowledge is your power to protect yourself.

Chad Golem and his wife, Allison Golem (a math teacher at Mayfield Middle School), operate what can aptly be described as a near perfect con or fraud scheme. This con revolves around Chad Golem's business, Golem Construction. Mr. Golem does the actual stealing of the money, while Allison Golem, with her seemingly benign job as a middle school math teacher, provides the cover for them to "launder" the stolen money. Together, they have been successful in stealing from Mr. Golem's clients, subcontractors, financial institutions and even his own employees for much of the last decade.

Sadly, most fraud is not reported and the type of fraud perpetrated by Chad Golem is rarely prosecuted or even looked at by authorities. If victims don't speak up and tell their stories, con men like Chad Golem can operate in perpetuity. This website was designed to help prevent you from becoming his next victim. The victim list is already long enough. No one else should have to endure the emotional and financial damage caused by Chad Golem and his fraud schemes. Don't let yourself become a victim.

Chad Golem Abandoned Project in Twinsburg, OH
One of the many abandoned projects

Please do not think that this cannot happen to you because you personally know the Golems or their families. Many of the victims were known to Chad Golem and/or his family. His own father, Gary Golem and his brother Nathan Golem (both Realtors at Haven Realty) referred/recruited some of the victims. These people should not be trusted. You are exactly the victim profile that they are looking for. If you already have a level of trust in them, either through acquaintance or referral, it makes it much easier for you to be lied to - essential to the con.

To find out how they run their scam, read the How It Works section. If you would like to see some examples of the properties and people affected by the fraud, visit the Abandoned Projects and Victims pages. Finally, you can read how his family assists in this fraud, on the Team Golem page. Educate yourself, know all of the facts, and do not let yourself become the next victim.
